5 U.S.C. 552(a) Privacy Act

a. AUTHORITY:
5 U.S.C. 301 Departmental Regulations; 14 U.S.C. 632; Maritime Transportation Act of 2002, Pub. L. 107-295; Homeland Security Act of 2002, Pub. L. 107-296; 33 U.S.C. 1223.

b. PURPOSE:
The purpose of this system is to provide consolidated Notice of Arrival/Notice of Departure (NOA/NOD) information to the Coast Guard and other Federal law enforcement and regulatory agencies responsible for marine safety, maritime security, maritime law enforcement, marine environmental protection, and related purposes. This statement advises you that names, email addresses, and other limited personal information must be obtained from you in order to establish and/or manage accounts.

c. ROUTINE USES:
The information contained in this system may be released to Federal, state, local, tribal, territorial, foreign, or international agencies for the purpose of managing vessel arrival operations as it relates to national security, health concerns, law enforcement, port operations, or other regulatory situations. The personal information you provide will be used solely by authorized Coast Guard personnel who will establish accounts and manage passwords.

d. DISCLOSURE:
Voluntary. However, failure to provide information may prevent you from accessing an account to submit Notice of Arrival information to this system, impacting vessel arrival into U.S. ports.
